Incident Form Editor

The 5.7 update provides IndustrySafe System Administrators with the ability to configure IndustrySafe’s Incident recording forms to an even greater degree using the new Form Editor, which was previously rolled out to the Hazard and Corrective Actions forms in our  5.6 update.

Using the Form Editor, admins can reorder, rename, remove, or create new Fields and Sections on all Incident recording forms. Fields can also be laid out in 2 columns, which can help reduce the length of your Incident forms. In addition, tooltips can be added to any field, which can contain instructions or hyperlinks to help explain fields to your end users.

Public Web Form Enhancements

As part of the 5.7 Release, enhancements have also been made to IndustrySafe’s Incident, Observation, and Hazard Public Web Forms. IndustrySafe’s Public Web Forms can be made accessible to all of your stakeholders via simple web links to allow for easy incident, observation, and hazard reporting. No login, username or password is required to use these forms.

The Public Web Forms are broken into manageable sections and stakeholders cannot move on to the next section of the public form until all required fields in a section are complete. Previously, stakeholders could not return to previous sections to edit their responses. However, the 5.7 update allows stakeholders to easily navigate back to previous sections using a new “Back” button.

In addition, the Incident Public Web Form has been updated so that users are taken to a new landing page after creating an Initial Incident Form. From there, you can choose to edit or print your Initial Incident Form, add attachments, or complete additional incident forms, such as the Incident Investigation form, or the new Environmental Incident Public Web Form.

Once you’ve completed your desired Incident forms, you can click the “Submit” button to submit your Incident to the IndustrySafe software.

Schedule Required Training and Inspection Log Reports

In our previous 5.6.1 update, IndustrySafe released a new report scheduling tool allowing administrators to schedule reports to be run and emailed out on a regular basis. Using the Report Scheduler, IndustrySafe System Administrators can set an exact date and time at which the report will be run and sent out, and can choose to rerun and send out the report on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. The report will be emailed as a PDF attachment.

Initially, the Report Scheduler was only available in the following select reports: the Incidents Log, Employee Injury Log, Observations Log, and Observation Details Log. However, as part of the 5.7 Release, the Report Scheduler is now available in the following reports:

  • Inspections Log
  • Inspection Details Log
  • Hazards Log
  • Corrective Actions Log
  • Required Training Log
  • Data Import Log
